ROCKY RIVER - Fred Sokol, Chair and Stop Abortion in Rocky River Committee and the Rosary for Life Group prayed the Holy Rosary, recited the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, stood, protested abortion and displayed graphic abortion signs.  While we pro-lifers witnessed – [1.] an abortion stopped and [2.] an abortion regretted.

On the days of Saturday morning November 28th and Tuesday evening November 24th - across the street and in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] 20800 Center Ridge Road that offers ... “Abortion pill (medication abortion) … up to 9 weeks after the start of your last menstrual period.” 

AN ABORTION STOPPED - AN UNBORN BABY SAVED IN ROCKY RIVER, OHIO

A pro-lifer on the condition they would not be indentified.  Explains how the pro-lifer helped stop a man and woman from aborting their unborn baby.  While the pro-lifer displayed a graphic abortion sign across the street from Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] on Saturday Morning November 28, 2009.  

Pro-lifer: “A man approached me on the sidewalk.  He said Man: what are your abortion signs about - is there an abortion clinic in the area?  Pro-lifer: We are protesting Planned Parenthood.  Man: Where is it located?  Pro-lifer: Why do you want to know?  Man: My girl friend wants to get an abortion.  Pro-lifer: You do not want to do that.  How long has she been pregnant?  Man: Approximately two to three weeks. Pro-lifer: I told the man, sir this is what abortion looks like as I pointed to my graphic abortion sign.  Then a lady pulled into the parking lot behind me and the man.  Pro-lifer: Then I looked at the lady and said what can I do for you?  She mumbled something.  Then I asked the man, where is your girlfriend?   The man pointed out his girlfriend as the lady that just pulled up in the parking lot.  Then I pointed my graphic abortion sign to the girlfriend who was considering the abortion.  Then the girlfriend yelled out turn that sign away it is disturbing.  Then I said to the pregnant woman this is what abortion could look like if you go through with it.  Then the boyfriend and the girl friend took off in the car and stopped on the street next to where I was standing again pointing the graphic abortion sign at the two.  Then I said to the couple in the car, here is my phone number I can provide you names of people who will help you financially to complete your pregnancy.  Then the man in the car wrote down the names and phone numbers to those who could help them financially to allow the baby to be born.  Says the pro-lifer, “It made me feel good that one baby will not die from abortion today.  For other people happiness is materialism.  For me happiness is God allowing me the unworthy servant I am to see a woman considering an abortion to change her mind by seeing my graphic abortion sign I was holding.”

AN ABORTION REGRETTED - IN ROCKY RIVER

Tuesday evening November 24, 2009 at our pro-life gathering ... as both pro-life groups, [Stop Abortion in Rocky River Committee and Rosary For Life Group] were finished protesting abortion in Rocky River and leaving for the night.  My pro-life friend [who at this time remains nameless] arrived with her "I Regret My Abortion" sign.

May God Bless this lady for her courage and her humility.  She told me she was late for the pro-life gathering and wanted to stand with us as we displayed our graphic abortion signs.  So she could display her “I REGRET MY ABORTION” sign as well.

I told her not to worry.  I was just planning to pray The Rosary in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood].  She said she would pray the Rosary with me and display her “I REGRET MY ABORTION” sign as well. 

We then talked with several pro-lifers as they were leaving and who were all very supportive of her and of her sign “I REGRET MY ABORTION”. 

We then both walked to the front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] and prayed the Most Holy Rosary together.  At first she was nervous to display the sign “I Regret My Abortion”.  I told her you don’t have to display the sign if you do not want to.  She then told me that God led her to display the “I Regret My Abortion” sign … and that she was going to display it. 

So as I held my “PRAY TO END ABORTION” sign … my friend held her “I Regret My Abortion” sign and in full view of Center Ridge Road Traffic and in front of God.  

After we both, finished our Holy Rosary.  I told her I was humbled in her presence for her great courage and openness, and her ability to confess not only in front of Center Ridge Road traffic but to God as well.  Please say a prayer for her.

IN CLOSING

This brave young lady who regretted her abortion … and the lady and the man who considered an abortion but didn’t go through with it … are ‘spiritual examples’ to us all. 

For we are all called as well … to take a long hard and honest look at our past and our present life and the wrong we did … or the wrong we are about to do.  Then humbly draw near to God Who is Love, Forgiveness and Healing. 

So we too can confess our sins to Him … or walk away from evil we are about to do.  Then we pledge to God to sin no more.  So we can be healed, by God the Creator of the Universe and the Author of All Life.  Praise Be To God Forever and Ever, Hallelujah, Amen!   

FINALLY

Oh God, Have Mercy On Me a Sinner! – Fred Sokol

MEDITATION: THUMBS DOWN TO “PRAY TO END ABORTION”.

On Sunday afternoon, November 29, 2009 I prayed in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] for the born … and also that the unborn will be saved from abortion and death.

I prayed the four Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary the Joyful [The Annunciation, Mary visits Her Cousin Elizabeth, Jesus Birth and Childhood] the Luminous [Jesus Baptism and Adult Ministry] the Sorrowful [Jesus Arrest, Torture, Crucifixion and Death on the Cross] the Glorious [Jesus Resurrection, Ascension, First Pentecost, Mary’s Assumption and Mary Crowned Queen of Heaven].

Once I finished my Most Holy Rosary.  I prayed the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy.  I called down God’s Heavenly Mercy upon all who live on this Earth … especially in Rocky River, Ohio for the sins of Mankind [including myself] committed against God.

As I was enthralled [even though I was standing next to a busy street with a busy shopping center across the street from me] in prayer, in Mary, in Jesus, in St. Joseph, in God and in His Most Divine Mercy for the souls of all both living and dead.

I held a sign “PRAY TO END ABORTION” as well.

As I was finishing my prayers and for the last time adjusting my sign “PRAY TO END ABORTION” so all motorists on Center Ridge Road could see it.  I happened to catch a glimpse of a man in his early 20’s looking at me as I held my sign and Rosary [that I was praying for him and for all in this World] … in my other hand.

As he then knew I was looking at him.  He gave me “the thumbs down” as he waltzed into the place of business across the street from me.

Then it shot across my mind … the image of the Pagan Nero and his “thumbs down” ordering “DEATH” [see above].  Then I was quickly and painfully reminded where Satan

has brought Rocky River, Ohio … where Satan has brought our young people and the World … for them to strike out to even my invitation to Prayer, to Mary, to St. Joseph, to Jesus and to God to protect the unborn from abortion.

Rather the pro-aborts prefer the “pagan child-sacrifice’

for any reason and that they will do anything to protect that right to kill on the [as a pro-lifer once said] altar of convenience.  Even to attempt to curse someone that holds a Most Holy Rosary and a sign that says, “PRAY TO END ABORTION” in their hand.

Yes sadly, Satan’s Minions will continue to honor death and the one who is its prince.  The Prince of Darkness himself, Satan.  For one day their “thumbs down” to Life will be their own “downfall”.
