ROCKY RIVER – Fred Sokol, Chair – Stop Abortion in Rocky River Committee was asked recently what his Committee is planning and what they are already doing … to stop abortion in Rocky River?

Sokol said, “Marketing a pro-life and an anti-abortion movement in Rocky River is no problem. 

First, we have many ‘smart’ pro-life and anti-abortion activities preparing to be implemented to stop abortion in Rocky River.  

Secondly we already have implemented other pro-life and anti-abortion efforts to stop abortion in Rocky River.”

PRO-LIFE AND ANTI-ABORTION ACTIVITIES PREPARING TO BE IMPLEMENTED

Pro-Life sign display at the High Schools and at the Middle School located in Rocky River, Ohio. 

Establishment of a ‘Blessed Sacrament Perpetual Adoration Chapel’ located very near to Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood].

‘Blessed Sacrament Perpetual Adoration Chapel’ visits being planned at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church and Eucharistic Adoration Chapel – 3644 Rocky River Drive – Cleveland [West Park], Ohio … already the “Stop Abortion in Rocky River Committee’s” ‘official site’ for prayer, worship and for spiritual strength.

Expanded graphic abortion sign display in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood].  Says Sokol, “Imagine, more motorists driving by on Center Ridge Road to see the horror of abortion and the aborted unborn babies … coming from our display of graphic abortion signs?” 

Religious Service dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe - the Patroness of the Unborn held in Rocky River, Ohio.  “We will at that time dedicate Our Lady of Guadalupe – the Patroness of the Unborn to Rocky River … for the conversion of the Citizens of Rocky River towards life”, says Sokol.

PRO-LIFE AND ANTI-ABORTION ACTIVITIES ALREADY IMPLEMENTED

WE PRAY

We pray the Holy Rosary … Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries for Jesus to protect and save the unborn baby from abortion … when time permits.  We recite the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy for all the people of the World as well. 

God Bless you Dave for taking the time from your busy day amid the caring for your mother.   You generously take time to stand and to pray with me and other pro-life people in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood].

For what prayers you say for the protection of the unborn baby in Rocky River a hundred fold times a hundred fold of prayers are prayed for the intention of you and yours.  Again, God Bless You Dave, now and forever.

 WE DISPLAY PRO-LIFE AND ANTI-ABORTION SIGNS

We stand and display a 4’ by 4’ “THOU SHALT NOT KILL” sign.  We also display another sign that says 50 million unborn American babies have already been murdered by abortion since 1973.  This brave pro-life man who holds that particular sign is also a very good friend of mine.  He also does what his other sign that he displays says, “Cry out full-throated and unsparingly, lift up your voice like a trumpet blast; Tell my people their wickedness, and the house of Jacob their sins.”  Isaiah Chapter 58:1  God Bless You Phil for your love for the unborn and for your courage like David when he met Goliath and slew him.

We also display graphic abortion signs of Baby Malachi a [second term aborted unborn baby], a [first term aborted unborn baby], a Hitler’s and America’s Holocaust graphic abortion sign, and coming soon a [third term aborted unborn baby] sign that will be shown to traffic going west and east on Center Ridge Road. 

We also display a “PLANNED PARENTHOOD HERE `” sign, another “THOU SHALT NOT KILL” sign, an “ABORTION KILLS CHILDREN” and “PRAY TO END ABORTION” signs … displayed by another pro-lifer and a good friend of mine.  God Bless you Mike for your love of God and for your love of God’s Creation the unborn baby and for those who have fallen by the wayside.  

PRO-LIFE ADVOCACY IS NOW THROUGHOUT THE WEEK – IN ROCKY RIVER

Our Pro-Life Advocacy in Rocky River is not just Tuesday and Saturdays anymore.  We pro-lifers are there mostly every day in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood].  Whenever weather and time permits.

WHO ARE THE PRO-LIFERS THAT COME TO PRAY FOR THE UNBORN IN ROCKY RIVER?   

We have pro-lifers from Rocky River, Lorain County, Medina County and other Communities in Cuyahoga County standing up and praying for the unborn in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood].

ST. STEPHEN’S [CLEVELAND, OHIO] CATHOLIC CHURCH PRO-LIFE GROUP – AND A BEACON OF LIGHT.

As Brian Rotsaert pro-life leader of St. Stephen’s says, “On Friday, October 30, ten parishioners from Saint Stephen Parish (West 54th) and several others participated in the 40 Days For Life vigil and brought with them pumpkins that were carved to spell out "Choose Life."  The Holy Spirit was truly there to keep the wind away long enough to take the pictures as the group was literally a beacon of light for the gospel message and lives of the unborn children.”

YET ROCKY RIVER PRO-ABORTS SHOW BAD AND IMMORAL EXAMPLE TO PRO-LIFERS IN ROCKY RIVER, OHIO

The pro-aborts from Rocky River flick us off, curse at us, spit at us.  They throw food at us [recently I had cake thrown at me], they argue with us, lie to us [as we tell them the facts of abortion in Rocky River], they try to block our signs.   They physically threaten us, mock us and mock Mary the Mother of God, mock Jesus and mock God as we pray.

The pro-aborts are ugly and ignorant.  How can any pro-abort legitimately argue the case for killing an unborn human being?  They can’t and they never will.  Yet they are so ignorant they keep trying.  Wow!  They drive by on Center Ridge Road grunting, squealing and screaming with their heads hanging out the car windows.  I make the ‘Sign of the Cross’ and say a prayer for these morally challenged people.  

What does it mean to you dear reader?  When people from Rocky River who are pro-aborts scream out, “I eat babies”   “Put ketchup on it … its done [they are referring to the aborted baby on our display of graphic abortion signs].”   “You need to be aborted.”  “Go Home.”  “You are a__ holes” and with the Rocky River School Insignia “The Pirate” on the back of their cars?   Oh, Rocky River … you do not have much to be proud of.

YET ROCKY RIVER RESIDENTS THANK US … FOR PRAYING AND STANDING UP FOR THE LIVES OF THE UNBORN.

On Sunday, November 22, 2009 as I stood in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] 20800 Center Ridge Road that offers ... “Abortion pill (medication abortion) … up to 9 weeks after the start of your last menstrual period.” 

As I prayed my Holy Rosary Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries … and as I prayed my Chaplet of the Divine Mercy … and as I displayed my 4’ x 4’ sign that read, “THOU SHALT NOT KILL”.  A young man from the area pulled into the parking lot next to me.  He got out of his car and walked up to me to thank me and the other pro-lifers who stand [at other times] in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] as well.  I thanked him for his kind words and gave him my pamphlet explaining our purpose there.  He thanked me and we shook hands and he left. 

Also this Sunday evening a man in a SUV stopped in front of me and asked me if I wanted a coffee.  I said no thanks for I was dressed very warm tonight.  He then thanked me for what I was doing for the unborn.  I then said thank you and I said, “God Bless You” to him. 

Rest assured I will keep them and their family members always in my prayers. May I again say now, God Bless you both who thanked me and wished me well and God Bless your family members as well.

IN CLOSING

Rocky River’s leaders have not only failed to stop abortion in Rocky River. They have failed to stand with us pro-lifers in Rocky River.  They also failed to thank us for standing up for the unborn … like these young men did on this Sunday evening.   

FINALLY: THE SUFFERING CHRIST IN THE ABORTED UNBORN BABY

As I told a person recently that was complaining about my graphic abortion sign display.  He said that Jesus would not allow my display of graphic abortion signs.  I looked at him in pity and told him, “The ‘Suffering Jesus’ is in each one of these aborted unborn babies.  Jesus is that aborted unborn baby.  Of course Jesus wants us to see Him suffering in this way.”

Oh, Rocky River.  Just remember this one thing … when you kneel and fold your hands in prayer on Christmas to celebrate the Birth of Jesus. 

The Baby Jesus is in each and every one of those unborn babies that are aborted that you failed to stop but you could have saved from abortion.  Thus, your Christmas Prayer to the Baby Jesus will be meaningless.  Yet, I pray for you.

MEDITATION: GOD BLESS AMERICA

Dear God Bless all the people of the World.  Dear God Bless America to be true to its Founding Principles to recognize, respect and protect ‘Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness’ all given from God for all of its Citizens both born and unborn … also for America to turn back to God. 

We also pray for ourselves and for our loved ones.

Oh, Jesus, Mary and Joseph Hear Our Prayer.

“As Mary accepted God’s Will for her to be the Mother of God.  May America seek and accept God’s Will for her and to trust in God that all will work out for the best.

“As Mary and Elizabeth ministered to each other and shared their joy together.  May America respect, protect and minister to all of its Citizens, both born and unborn.  

God came to us at Bethlehem in the form of a baby.  May America see Christ’s birth and the birth of all children as a Gift from God to be embraced, loved and protected by all Americans. 

Mary and Joseph presented the child Jesus in the temple, in accordance with the prescriptions of Jewish law.  May America follow God’s Laws.

Mary and Joseph were distressed to have lost Jesus in the temple.  May America find its way to Jesus and open her heart to Him … and God Bless America.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself, Amen.
