ROCKY RIVER – Fred Sokol, Chair – Stop Abortion in Rocky River Committee says, “On Saturday May 23, 2009 - I was asked by a fellow pro-lifer, why I stand and display graphic abortion signs for people to see.  I simply turned and smiled to my unsupportive pro-life friend and said, “Jesus asked me to.” 

 

• Now, I ask you dear reader.  What are you doing to make this a better World to live in?  I am sure you are doing something.  What is Jesus asking you to do?  

• How about these unborn babies that people call “a punishment”?  Yes, these little innocent and defenseless unborn children who are aborted and murdered by their own mothers, who we in our busy and needy lives would rather forget about. 

 

 

• Yet when we see a graphic abortion sign displayed showing those same unborn children burned, impaled and torn to pieces … we do remember the unborn baby don’t we?  Of course we do.  Even though we try to block them out of our mind and the gruesome scene of a bloody brutally victimized defenseless unborn baby.  We can’t.

 

 

• The scene will never go away.  Why?   Because God does not want us to forget so we will care and try to stop the abortion and death of unborn babies in the future.  Hello? 

 

Then how do we respond to that displayed graphic abortion sign?  What do we decide to do in our life to make the world better to live in for the unborn baby?  

 

• Is it to act to save other unborn babies from abortion and death?

 

 

• Or do we totally ignore the bloody aborted unborn baby scene displayed by graphic abortion signs in front of our eyes?   While we continue to drive by the graphic abortion sign display … drinking our coffee and eating our morning pastry?

 

• Or do we say to ourselves, how dare, these pro-lifers remind us of the horror and the bloody violence that is being perpetrated on the smallest, weakest and most innocent of all mankind … and in our own Country and City.

 

 

 

• Then we do what we think is the most responsible thing right?  That is, we strike out with wicked claw, we snarl, swear, shake our fists, we wail and gnash our teeth at God’s Messengers who display those graphic abortion signs. 

 

• Yah, you know they are just rebel rousers, gadflies, people who need to get a job, or who get calls on their answering machine to be told to never stop at a ‘fancy dancy’ house in Rocky River anymore.  Because the home-owner just does not approve of the so called “loon’s” call to prayer to stop abortion in Rocky River.  Yup, that home-owner really fixed that “loser” all-right.

 

• Yah, they got them figured out by golly.  They think the pro-lifers are fools, loons, and losers, Right?  Yet the person who belittles ‘God’s Messengers’ will find those so called “odd-balls” in Heaven ahead of them. 

 

 

• Why?  Because they were asked by Jesus to help to protect and save the unborn baby.  Yes God’s Creation from abortion and death … and those so called “losers” gladly said yes to Him.  To “Cry out full-throated and unsparingly, lift up your voice like a trumpet blast; Tell my people their wickedness, and the house of Jacob their sins.” Isaiah Chapter 58:1  Of course to display their graphic abortion signs because Jesus asked them to.  In order to turn a culture of death in our World, Country and our City to a culture of life.  

 

 

Again, what is Jesus asking you to do?

 

 

• God has given you ‘free will’ my friend.  To either serve God who created you in His Image.

 

 

• Or to serve Man who seeks to destroy God’s creation that was made in His Image.

 

 

 

• Yet some think they can fool God and fool Man.  They straddle the abortion issue to not offend anyone.  No can do.  Oh sure, they can say they are pro-life … yet they wouldn’t impose their belief on another.  That is the most spineless stand on abortion in the book.  Furthermore that stand is no stand at all.    

 

• Or others say, well, abortion is the law of the Land.  Have you not heard my friend, what God’s Law of the Universe is?  “Thou Shalt Not Kill.” Exodus 20:13   Have you read the Bible lately?  God’s Law is written in there as plain as day.

 

 

• That said, Woe to you who abort and destroy the 'Image of God' that is the unborn baby.

 

• One day you will see God face to face.  He will ask you what you did to save the least of His Brethren the unborn baby from abortion and death ... and you will have to answer Him. 

 

 

 

• No amount of money, fame, fortune or huge house overlooking the lake that you once accumulated in life will speak in your behalf.  

 

• It will only be the aborted unborn babies … that could have been saved by us … that will either speak for or against us.  That is who God will listen to.

 

 

• I pray you make the right choice.”

PRAYER: A PRAYER TO STAY THE HAND OF GOD AND HIS JUDGMENT.

“Father, after 45 million American unborn babies were aborted and murdered since 1973 … I your most simple servant asks, Father forgive us for we know not what we do … I ask this in Jesus Name, Amen.”
