ROCKY
RIVER FINANCE ACCOUNTABILITY - 1990 THROUGH
2006!
TO:
Mr. Mike Thomas, Rocky
River Director of Finance
In Re: Request for Rocky
River, Ohio Public Information
Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 149.43 (B), I, Fred I.
Sokol, respectfully request - ‘citizen readable
financial records’ of Rocky River, Ohio, County of
Cuyahoga city government - that accounts for every
penny: (1.) That Rocky River city government
received and the names of who gave the money and
(2.) What Rocky River city government spent and the
names of who received the money - from fiscal year
1990 through fiscal year 2006.
As a candidate for Mayor of Rocky River in 2005 - I
promised Rocky River residents - I would have Rocky
River city government account for every penny Rocky
River city government received and spent from 1990
through 2006. That is our money!
More than 2100 Rocky River voters said yes to my
promise above and voted for me.
As a resident of Rocky River in 2006 I will keep
that promise - to those residents who voted for me
last year – and to all residents.
That promise? To have the city government of Rocky
River render a ‘citizen readable accounting’ of the
money they received and spent from 1990 through
2006.
In closing, I realize ‘.6 BILLION DOLLARS’ OR
($610,263,582.90) HAS SHOWED IN THE CITY OF ROCKY
RIVER’S ‘PROPOSED SPENDING BUDGETS’ FROM 1990
THROUGH 2006. It appears to me a ponderous amount
of said requested financial information - to gather
for my viewing!
So, please contact me at my phone: 440-521-5452 to
advise me in advance - on how the city government of
Rocky River would like me to view my requested said
information.
Thank You.
