Rocky River City Government has become our master.  They have lost sight of the fact they have a job to serve us!  Furthermore, no one should fear their ‘city government’ or worry that they will be slammed by them. 

Yet sadly, there is someone I know who fears their Rocky River City Government.  

It is time ‘To Retool Rocky River City Government’.  When elected Mayor of Rocky River I will turn Rocky River City Government ‘From Foe - To Friend’ for residents.

1. As Mayor, I will guarantee you that Rocky River city government will be brought to the feet of Rocky River Residents.  Why?

2. Rocky River city government was created ‘Of The People, By The People and For The People.’  Residents Rule, Not Rocky River city government!  Hello?

3. Yes, city government writes, passes and enforces the laws of Rocky River, yet only because “we allow them too.”  (We can change Rocky River City Government if need be.)

4. Yet there is something we cannot change.  “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” are given to us from God.  No one shall take those gifts from God away from us.  Not even Rocky River City Government.  If anyone does try to take our “Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness” away then they are not fighting man, they are against God Who has given those gifts freely to all!   Yes, they will be answerable to God as well!

5. (1.) As Mayor of Rocky River and ‘by executive order’ every Rocky River City Government Department will have a ‘citizen oversight committee’ assigned to them.  (2.) This will be done, so City Departments will directly answer to residents.  (3.) Also to make sure all of residents’ rights, services and their person are treated fairly, respectfully and appropriately by city government, if not, we will hear about it.  (4.) Residents will also know that there will be a ‘City Department Oversight Committee’ they can go to if they have a complaint or a concern about that said City Department.  (5.) They can come to me as Mayor, for help too. 

No more fear of Rocky River city government.  No more heavy handiness.  No more ‘Their-Ocracy’.  It will be banished.  So Help Me God!

1. “As Mayor, residents will be protected and treated with respect not mistreated.”

2. “Residents will not fear Rocky River city government anymore nor will they be punished by them.  Residents will have Rocky River city government as their friend.”

3. “Rocky River city government will also be a Democracy, not a Their-Ocracy.”

4. “Finally, as Mayor, I guarantee you, that ‘We The People’ will rule Rocky River city government, not Rocky River city government rule us!   

5. Rocky River City Government will also stay out of your lives.  SO HELP ME GOD!
