A Message For You .......

    I created my "Rocky River Home Improvement Subsidy Page" to propose a way, and state why, the Rocky River City Government should financially subsidize Rocky River Homeowners and Taxpayers that need help on their home improvement efforts.  I dedicate this page to all Rocky River homeowners and Taxpayers.

WHY WE NEED A

'CITY SUBSIDIZED'

HOME IMPROVEMENT

LOAN PROGRAM

FOR RESIDENTS ?

 

1.    " We need to provide Rocky River residents with a 'City Subsidized'  Low-Interest Home Improvement Loan Program' to financially help ... Rocky River residents and their families.

 

2.    This 'City Subsidized Loan Program' will help meet the cost of needed improvements for resident's homes."

 

3.    This is just one way Rocky River Taxpayers will put their tax dollars to work "for them", through my 'proposed' Rocky River subsidized 'Home Improvement Loan Plan.'

Rocky River families sometimes

have to sacrifice to perhaps

feed and clothe their family,

rather than put a needed 'new roof'

on their house, or paint their house.

 

These Homeowners and Taxpayers especially need support."

'HOME IMPROVEMENT

LOAN PLAN'

 

SUMMARY

 

    

     Rocky River City Government should provide a "Home Improvement Loan" for 'Rocky River Homeowners' to borrow money .... to repair or remodel their homes at '3 percent below' a bank's market rate for home improvement loans. 

 

     Rocky River City Government will provide up to a 3% subsidy for these 'low interest' home repair loans in Rocky River to make up the difference.

 

      

 This proposed program includes qualified financial institutions that provide low-interest rate loans to eligible borrowers who qualify for certain housing repair and improvement loans.

 

      

     This is just one way Rocky River Taxpayers will put their tax dollars to work "for them", through my 'proposed' Rocky River subsidized 'Home Improvement Loan Plan.'

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ELIGIBILITY

 

Owners of single family,

two-family, and multi-family homes in Rocky River, Ohio.

OVERSIGHT

Rocky River City Government.

 

 

 

NOT ALLOWED

 

Loans for swimming pools, hot tubs, satellite dishes, stables,

new home construction and refinancing of a present loan.

LOAN APPLICATION PROCEDURE

LOAN REVIEW PROCEDURE

(to be decided later) 

AGREEMENTS BETWEEN LENDING INSTITUTIONS

AND THE

CITY OF ROCKY RIVER

ALLOWED

 Borrower's will not be restricted by any maximum income to get loan.

 No age restriction to property

that's to be improved.

 'Taxed property' can only get improvement loans.

 A Rocky River home's market value

has no bearing on getting a

'home improvement loan.'

 

 Any 'home improvement'

that raises the property value

of that home can be

considered for a loan.

 

Any 'home improvement loan'

must closely match

the home's 'property value increase.'

 

 Borrower's credit is the responsibility

of the financial institution

that makes the loan.

 Borrower's Loan Minimum is $1500

 Borrower's Loan Maximum

Borrower must be current

on property tax payments.
