Question?
Do you feel ...
Especially Now ...
"With as many Rocky River Residents
that need help ... there are as many fellow residents who would like to help their
neighbors?"
Question?
Do you feel ...
Especially Now ..."We need 'compassionate Rocky
River residents to propose and support present and 'future
compassionate efforts, that address citizen's needs and concerns
that unite 'all' Rocky River residents, for a better Rocky River?"

Question?
Do you feel ...
Especially Now ..."We
need to
seek and encourage fellow 'citizen's to
initiate further 'compassionate programs' to benefit Rocky River
residents."
Question?
Do you feel ...
Especially Now ... "These
'compassionate programs' must also be free from Rocky River
City Government control?"

Honor Rocky River Citizens
for their Participation!
(AN
EDITORIAL)

Dear Fellow Rocky River Citizens,
There are
citizens in Rocky River ‘that are not afraid’ to speak up and act … to control
their destiny in Rocky River. Yet further participation by other Rocky River
Citizens needs to be encouraged … sometimes by first recognizing citizens who do
participate.
That’s
why as Mayor I will have ‘The City of Rocky River’ honor (once a month) a Rocky
River citizen young or old – he or she ... as a ‘Rocky River Outstanding
Citizen.’
They will be honored for either their actions in their personal or community
life … where they have showed exemplary courage, compassion, selfless service
and respect directly or indirectly to others … or towards our city as a whole.
Rocky River’s honoring of residents will show to all of us that ‘in our
individual life’ we have something to contribute. We also can be a ‘positive
affect’ to people around us, to those we will never meet and to our community as
well.
By ‘honoring’ fellow resident’s positive examples … people will realize ‘WE
CAN’ make a difference to fellow residents and to our community! We are all
heroes!
Yet, I
feel we can ‘plain straight talk – for citizen control’ all we like … but
‘citizen control’ will not take place until Rocky River residents make a
‘Mayoral Choice’ in November of 2005.
Either … for a Mayor that will apparently keep residents quiet on their knees …
or a Mayor that will help residents stand on their ‘two feet’ and speak up for
what they want for themselves, for their family and for Rocky River.
Rest assured the struggle for ‘Rocky River Citizens to have control of their
neighborhoods, their city and their lives’ … is fluid, focused and unfolding as
it should.
I believe in all Rocky River citizens. I will never let Rocky River citizens
down!

We Are
Rocky River Citizens!
(AN
EDITORIAL)
Dear Fellow Rocky River Citizens,
We grasp to be extraordinary. We choose not to be typical.
We never accept the easy way out. We embrace occasions to
excel.
We are proud of our independence. We will not allow anyone to make us
dependent.
We take the risk; to dream, to plan, perhaps to falter till we succeed.
When we help someone, we never sell them out.
We prefer life’s challenges to fulfill our existence.
We run from the nothingness of the status quo.
We will never kneel before any master. Nor be quiet to any threat.
It is our birthright to stand tall, proud and courageous and to think and act
for ourselves.
We know we have the right to be someone, and to live and work for
our community.
We enjoy our accomplishments while working with others.
We are not afraid. We are patient. We will not back-off.
Our goal is to benefit others. Even to benefit those who criticize our
efforts.
This, fulfills our struggle.
Then we proudly face our community and
say, "We have done this, with our
Creator’s help."
This is what it means to be an American and a Rocky River
Citizen.

(AN
EDITORIAL)

Dear Fellow Rocky River Resident,
I call on compassionate River citizens to support ‘issues’ that
will advance our city and residents.
Amazingly,
some Riverite’s criticize these issues like city tax cuts, citizen
involvement, protecting citizen's rights/homes.
Some
citizens even insult, threaten and stop residents that speak of a
better Rocky River for ‘all citizens.’
I know. They have
insulted and threatened me.
Rocky
River can show compassion, respect and concern for the ideas/needs
of ‘all res idents.’
Say ‘YES’ to residents
who want debate that builds bridges for citizens and for a better
Rocky River . . . not walls.
